The expo style event will inform attendees about all available sources of funding. SME owners that accessed finance through these sources will present their “How I got funded” case studies. Guest speakers, exhibitors and funding experts will deliver a series of “How to get funded” lectures. Up to 1,000 SMEs/Start-Ups seeking funds for working capital, expansion and/or refinance will be matched with funders. The Dublin event will be hosted in the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin on Thursday 19th of May 2016 and 3 more regional events will be held around the country - locations to be confirmed.
Funding exhibitors will include major Banks, Angel Investor Funds, Venture Capital Funds, Invoice Discounting Firms, Purchase Order Finance Houses, Peer to Peer Lenders, Crowdfunding Platforms and State Agencies.
Target Audience - Of the 185,000 SMEs in Ireland there is a potential audience of 30,000-40,000 with the event catering for up to 2000.
SME Preferred Profile - Less than 50 employees, over €100k turnover and seeking €25k to €5m funding. Typically these businesses need 6 months working capital and/or investment but others will want asset backed finance for plant or equipment.
